Changing spark plugs, one spark plug was covered w/ oil. Is this bad? Whats up?
For the oil it seems like head gaskets need replacing. As far as the electrical issue, sound like you may have a damaged wire from the ignition to the starter, I would try to trace the current to all electrical components; battery, starter alternator and see if you can find the area of the bad wire.

Had just started missing. Not more than two or three days...Just tightened alt belt.and changed the bat ends. And then it ran fine and now out of the blue it will not start. the bat still has full charge just wont turn over. Not even trying to. If anyone could please help.
on the outside of the plug.. the whole end of the plug was covered in oil....
on the starter the clip that plugs in not the main wire but the clip needs to be replaced i think any ideas.. you can jump the starter and it works but when you turn the key inside does not work. I had the ignition switch checked and it works fine. not sure what to do now????????

Is it the connector at end of your solenoid your talking about? Because you should be able to cut it off and relace it. Or is it the actual terminal on the solenoid that's bad?
Oil on outside of plug only, says gasket or seal leak, above it somewhere, just need to look real close or clean engine in that area, then observe evey once in a while to trace it. That tells me also that the engine internally is not a problem right now anyway.
As far as starting goes, have you tried starting with shifter in other gears? Can you hear a click anywhere, perhaps at a relay under hood, or under dash? Check all fuses inside & under hood? Double check the connections.
Just to clarify, oil was on tip of spark plug that came out of the hole, not on the outside of the plug, where wire goes? If on tip, was the engine not running rough, (missing) ?
