Check your Tailight fuse to see if it's blown, if so then start checking for a bad bulb(shorted element) in tailight circuit boards . and also don't forget to check grounds as well, there should be one at rear frame by left (drivers Side) tailight connection/trailer harness connection. hope this helps. do your Brake lights Work ?

SOURCE: rear parking lights dont work 2001 GMC sierra

It would then be a bad ground. Start at the bulb fixtures cleaning and refastening; look for cracked broken wires as you go. A little multimeter will help.

SOURCE: can not get my tail lights to work onk 1989 gmc truc

The front park lights work correct? If the front park lights work than there is not a problem with the light switch since the brown wire from the switch supplies power to the front park lights, front side markers, and the rear taillights. There should be twelve volts on the brown wire from the headlight switch with the connector plugged in and the park lights turned on. If this is true that there is a problem with the wiring to the back of the vehicle. A thorough inspection of the harness should reveal the problem. The dim break and blinkers support the above. High resistance also know as corrosion, in the wires or connections would cause this problem.

If the break lights in my 1986 c corvette works but the tail lights do not, what could be the cause

Blown fuse ,bad headlight switch,or wiring issue.
the tail lights have there own fuse and are powered through headlight switch. Do the front running lights come on? If none of them work, switch could be bad if front work and rears dont, check bulbs and power to them when lights are on

My taillights and rear parking and tag lights dont work but the front parking lights do

Are your dash lights out also? The tail and dash lights are wired on the same circuit and share the same fuse.If your dash lights are working then check the tail light bulbs, I know that it is rare but I have been fooled more than once by both bulbs being blown.

Driver side park light out on rear

I would put my money on Corrosion on the inside of the bulb holder creating a break In the circuit. You may be able to carefully solder the existing broken connection however doubtful. You will need a new bulb holder.
