Engine starts just fine. i put it in reverse to get out but it made this clicking sound in the gear box. but when i try to steer there is no power. i cannot steer at all. its an automatic. i checked all the fuses they look all fine.
Is there a large puddle under your vehicle? Your car's power steering is powered by power steering fluid and the belt turning this pump. So either you ran out of fluid due to a slow leak, the belt is not turning the pump, or you have a large leak and you lost all of your fluid at one time. It would be a good start by checking the power steering fluid, and the belt.

when i turned it on i let it warm up for a couple of minutes and then i put it in reverse then i tried to steer it wouldn't so i stepped out and saw this puddle of white foam. i didnt think nothing of it because i thought it was windshield washer fluid. but that could be it. but where do you put the power steering fluid?

I called a chevy dealership and they told me that my car doesnt take power steering fluid and its all electrical. i wish these stupid car companys would make cars that are easy to take care of
