Try replacing the Sway bar bushings first, 10 to 1 they need it anyway, this should fix the creaking noise. If this dose not solve the problem then check the power stearing fluid & top off if needed, then right after you do this, start the van and have some one you trust turn the stearing wheel hard left and hard right for 2 min., and you get under the front of the van and look for a power steering fluid leak, if you find a leak replace leaking line or part. If this dose not solve the problem in some rare cases the power stearing box or pitmen arm is bad and you should not try to do this at home. seek a full auto shop.

My 2011 Nissan Sentra makes a slight creaking noise whenever I back out of parking spaces by turning the steering wheel to the extreme right or left. Specifically, the noise comes after I start rolling...

is the creaking coming from the front or rear of the vehicle? if its in the front, it could be a bad strut. 2011? the vehicle should be under manuf. warranty. take it into the dealer and they should fix it for free and even put you in rental car if the vehicle has to stay for an extended period of time. make sure you are under 36,000 miles for the manuf. warranty to apply. good luck!

Creaking noise in front end 1997 explorer

Sounds like it is your CV axles.  Turn the wheel one direction, right or left, and check just behind the wheels to see if your CV boot is cracked or ripped (the boot is a black, rubber accordion looking thing).  If it is cracked or ripped, I would say that is definitely the problem.

When the van is driven my front end is making a knocking noise my front driver side wheel shakes and the steering wheel shakes

Front wheel drive cars have CV joints in the axles to permit the wheel to turn for steering. The CV joint is basically a universal joint on steroids. When they ware out it can cause this type of condition.

Creaking sound while turning steering wheel

There's a chance that the ball joints need grease. This should help, however once they have started to make noise like that due to lack of grease, they usually have gone bad. Replacement may be the only remedy. Hope this helps.

Breeze Steering Noise

sounds to me like ur steering pump is going (sounds like a weird humming). Dodge has had a weakness on their power steerings since the early 80's and automatic trannies as well.
If u want an experienced opinion, get rid of that car soon as u can and get a honda or toyota.
I guarantee u ur problems with that car will not end soon.

If ur noise happens only when ur sterring wheel is turned all the way to one side and especially if it's always on the same side, then it's one of the 2 axles (CV joint to be more precise) and it sounds more like a quick knocking (like a woodpecker kinda).

Hope this helps.
