SOURCE: fuel filter location

The oil filter is in an aluminum cylinder on the engine. It is not a "spin on" filter, it is now a cartridge-type filter. When you get one, make sure that you use the new o-rings provided in the filter box. The fuel filter is in the tank. Hope this helps, the graciousness of a FixYa rating would be appreciated. Thanks.

2000 Avalon XLS air condition keeps cutting off

Could be low on freon or a relay / switch problem.
Could also be a problem with the ac clutch on the compressor.
You can check the freon charge first, or check the clutch for voltage when the system cuts off.

How to change a thermostat in a 1995 toyota avalon

Radiator Thermostat - It is at the other end of the lower rubber hose of the radiator where the hose itself terminates on the engine- it is called thermostat housing.

For Ac unit - if manual adjustment- just like and ordinary thermostat of the air conditioner it is the knob where you adjust the temperature.

If electronic/digital type need to change whole assembly.

Toyota doesn't publish instructions for that. Its checked and installed for free as a courtesy on an oil and filter replacement, at good repair shops. You took it apart, I'm sure you can figure it out. People that aren't auto mechanics, think everything's so simple.
