it's working from the drivers side. i would assume the passenger switch is bad or there is a wire disconnected from the switch.

I have just purchased a 2001 hyundia elantra, the other day i was filling up with petrol. the doors automatic lock the doors with my keys still inside the car, the doors make a clicking noice all the time

the door switch is corroded - simplethe push button switch (that is pressed when you close the door) it comes out with a Philips screwdriver, undo the screw and pull out the switch it may be a bit stuck but wiggle it and it should pop out, when you look at it you'll know what I mean by "simple" - sand down the brass looking contacts till they're shiny and dab a spot of grease on there and refit the switch, all should be well again. - I quite like the elantra, nice and roomy :-)
Actually before you do this you can open the door with key in, lights on, so buzzer should be on and wiggle the little post that sticks out of the door switch, if you pull it out a little the buzzer should come on proving that the contacts are dirty and not connecting properly.

It is very possible the a/c / heater system could have a mouse that died inside the unit. smells very very bad.just one possibilty. I have see this several times.

remove door card and check that the clip that retains the rod to the handle is in place

Adjusting the handbrake is easy.Between the two front seats where the cup holders are behind there is a cubby hole.This has a bottom which can be easily prised out.You will see the handbrake adjusters which you just need to tighten.

wellits a smilple thing they have this round wire with a handel and they will yake the strip of ur driver side window don't worry it can be put back no need to buy a new one . and he will push the wire that is connecting both the handels and then open ur door.
