00 Tiburon timming problem please help?

Hyundai Tiburon ? what YEAR? 96 to 2008
2001 to 2009 (2008 USA)
G6BA engine.
engine or trans? pump.?

engine:?
the pan needs to come off for most cars.
why not state symptoms and miles on engine.
then get better answers.
most times low oil pressure (see my guess stupidly) is
caused not by the pump, ever.its caused by bad bearings.
some times a very dirty and high milleage engine (never serviced !!!)
will have a jammed pump pressure relief valve. and has low pressure.
this part is part of the pump. in many cases but not all.

the FSM book covers that, buy one.

see all parts on the car, and not how to fix it.

you only need to know what you have.
then google for that, any car made.

Your car has a timing belt, and should be replaced at
60,000 miles. Hope this helps.

if jump time that should be it timing marks and the tensioner are to lined up an also install new tensioner and recommend water pump if driven by the timing belt. if it has bent valves cause you jump time usually the car won't trun over at all.

The Fuel Filter is located Under hood, passenger side, front side of strut tower, mounted on fenderwell.

here is the diagram for your car. I hope this helps.

It is a 2.0L (the delta blocks weren't in tibs until '03). You have to remove the timing belt tensioner, and then you can remove the bolts for the water pump. I would strongly recommend not only taking careful precaution not to disturb the orientation of the gears in this process, but also to replace the timing belt and water pump at the same time. You don't want to go through this process all over again do you?

yes in this case it is correct, the reason is that the water pump and the timing belt runs toghter.. you dont want to change one without the other..
