When driving for 20 mins the air bag light will come on and stay on for 40 mins or less then it go off
Sadly, you will need a scan tool for this reset. On most vehicles, the airbag light should come on for @6 seconds, and then go off if the system is working properly. If there is a fault or a problem in the system, the light will remain illuminated, or flash continuously. If the airbag light does not work properly, some vehicles have an audible tone that sounds indicating a problem with the airbag light system. When the light is on (or the tone is sounding), the airbag will NOT deploy, even in an accident. This website gives you the procedure for diagnosing and resetting airbag lights on the ...scanlist.aspx page listed below.
The flashing light on your car is telling there is a problem. On some vehicles, the light is flashing a two digit code. Your vehicle will require a scan tool for the proper diagnosis (and not the one at Auto Zone---it needs to be airbag system specific, like a good body shop or the dealer). Here's a site that will explain everything you need to know about airbag lights and resetting the system. Once you know the code, you can most likely repair it yourself. There are fairly easy procedures that most people are capable of repairing.
Airbagsolutions.com has the fault code charts to tell you what is wrong! Although it's a pay site ($14.95/day), it's a lot cheaper than going to the dealer.
Some vehicle manufacturers accommodate systems without a scanner (like Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, Infinity, Honda, Acura, Ford, Lincoln, Mazda & Mercury) . Most all other vehicles require a scan tool for the diagnosis. Here is a link to the list of vehicle and scanner requirements.

the reason this usually happens is due to an open circuit in the coiled ribbon connector to the airbag from the steering column, the part is called the rotating clock spring contact.
SOURCE: air bag sensor light on, and stays on.
the air bag light being on is most likely a mal funtion, they shold have not had to mess with the wiring for the air bag, in the old days air bags had an acellarometer on the otter part of the car on the front of each fender if one was disconnected it would cause the light to come on, since yours is a generation 2, I suspect a different problem, since air bagsare explosive I do not recomend you try repairing it but I have a web page where they can trouble shoot it for you for a very reasonable price, they can tell you how to reset the lamp and tell you what code it is but it cost's $20.00 still cheeper than hooking up a scanner at a shop. here is the site http://www.airbagsolutions.com/contact.aspx you will need to fill in the information and then you can call them and they will be able to pin point it for you, when working on air bag systems always disconnect the battery and wait 5 minutes before testing or pulling anything apart as they can hold a charge in the ignigher for up to 5 minutes and use only a digital ohm meter to test wires as a meter with a sweeping arm can detonate the air bag, and at 170 MPH if you in the way your gonna get burned. hope this helps.

You need to pull the codes from the computer, to know where to go next. Typically, there is a sensor that gets contaminated from road water...but pull the codes...

SOURCE: Oil Pressure Light Comes On after 10 min of Driving
You may not have put the right amount of oil in your car, your oil pressure sensor could be faulty, or you may have a leak.
By revving your engine, you're increasing the pressure and thus turning off the light and making the sensor think that it's at the correct pressure.
