You might have a torn booth at the joint. I had this problem on my car when I was making turns. Driving straight didn't give me the noice. Only when making turns. When a booth is torn dust gets into the greese and wears out the wheel bearing.

Creaking sound from front passenger side of VW Polo 2003
the most common problem is the anti roll bar .where the bushes clamp around the bar there is a piece of plastic that the bush clamps around,the plastic breaks and can fall out .or the bushes that you describe are also common as a cause of noise or broken front springs .it will be one of them for sure.cheers
