How can I disconnect the automatic door locking at 17 mph on my 2000 Chrysler Concorde

My driver door wouldn't open from inside the car and I had to crawl over to the passenger side to get out. I need to know if there is a way to disconnect the automatic door lock at 17 mph on my 2000 Chrysler Concorde

There are two way of doing these . frist you can remove door panel on drive side and find the power wire for door locks rand remove from connter or cut . sec. you can take to dealer and they can plug in to car and change that way . but only deal can do that .

SOURCE: 2000 chrysler concorde switch unlocks but wont lock doors.

sounds like the actuator. I had the same problem. Mine got to the point where it will now only work with the key. Had it looked at by dealer.. actuator is bad. Good luck.

Disarming the anti theft system in a 1996 Chrysler Concorde so I can drive my car

Disconnecting the Factory Alarm should not be done, as there are a number of components that is connected to it (Lights, Horn, Ignition, Door Locks, etc.)
It would be better if you "disabled" it
Find the LIGHT GREEN / ORANGE wire located in the harness in the Driver Kick Panel / Door Boot area.

Remove the Driver Kick Panel next to door & the connector should be in that area

Do not cut in half,
Splice in one end of the piece of wire to the LIGHT GREEN / ORANGE wire
Connect the other end of the piece of wire to Ground, to a part of vehicles frame

at this link tells disarm wire color.

2000 Pontiac Grand Am SE security system wont let car start

first most GM OEM systems will need to recognize the key first and foremost ,to do that you will need to roll window down on driver door, turn the key to the run position and with engine NOT running leave the key on for 10 minutes exactly ..then turn ignition off then try to start engine. if original system is working engine should start normally

Help alarm on my Chrysler Concorde 1995

This should work if it is a factory alarm, first roll the window down on the drivers side door then manually lock and shut the door, then unlock the door with the key and see if that shuts it off!

Inside door handle 2002 concorde

You will most likely have to replace the inside handle, there is a "L" hook & clip inside the door panel. It's possible that it just popped out, but most likely the clip has broken. you'll have to remove the screws & crutons from the door panel to access the handle, you can find a replacement handle from the Chrysler dealer, or a used part yard. Happy handling B-)

Passenger side front door will not unlock. Door

probably a solenoid thats not opening or closing. you can get one from a junk yard. its located inside the door. if you cant install it, have a shop you trust do the work.

Replace drivers side mirror 1996 Chrysler Concorde LXI

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door
