The vehicle starts and the engine runs smoothly. But the other stuff i previously mention don't work. What is the Engine control module relay? Would a faulty one cause the above problems?

Mattie The horn went off and it was not the alarm. We had to pull the fuse. What to do about this?

Your battery cables and battery posts need to be cleaned. or the pattery cables need to be replaced

a faulty engine control module would afect the whay the engine runs. it could be the cabel that gos to the fuse block is bad just like the battery post can be coroted. that is a littel more complicated. you need to find the wire that is powing the fuse block. do you have one big wire coming off of the positeve post or two wires?

Dash light goes out ,radio stop working sunroof dont work door locks dont work 2001 dodge stratus

there is a fuse holder that is yellow under the hood on the 2001 stratus r/t. you have to pull the yellow holder up, not out, to remove the fuses. both are 10 amp. then you can remove them. if you have a tester, you can test them first. they go to upper part of the dash, interior and moon roof. I am a mechinac and had to troble shoot this problem. an easy fix.

2002 Dodge Stratus, Start Problem/ Electrical?

First thing I would do, is remove, clean, inspect & tighten all battery connections including & especially the other end of my negative connection. Also any connections to a power distribution box, that is usually found near the battery. In your explanation, you say when it does start, everything works normal, does that include radio & clock?

1999 dodge stratus electrical shortg

have someone check your BCM [body control module]. the dealer can do it. if it's bad, none of this stuff will work no matter how many fuses or rewiring you try.
