IO 4g93 can't start after replacing spark plugs, camshaft sensor, crank shaft sensor, fuel pumps, coil plugs hrottle body as advised by the mechanic.I am tired of buying parts now, kindly advice.

need to figure out where the problem is first, make sure your security light is not on

next, you need to see if the problem is in the fuel, spark, or compression this are some of the things a vehicle needs to start.

checking for trouble is the first thing you should do or you could be throwing a lot of parts on the vehicle.

you can try starter fluid and see if you have a fuel problem...one of the simples test to check for fuel

if it doesn't start with starter fluid you need to check for a spark

indicates that the ignition timing is too far advanced

My car cranks but will not start RVR GDI mitsubishi

Check all fuses first, then with an assistant, check for spark with a spark tester. if there is spark at 2 plugs, check for fuel pressure at the fuel rail with a gauge. Engines need three things to run, fuel, spark, and compression. If there is spark and fuel, do a compression test, if the timing belt jumped/broke, you won't have any

I have a 2005 Blazer ZR2, the fuel pump was not turning on. I had the pump replaced. It ran for 1 day then the next day the pump was not coming on again. I tried a new fuel pump relay...still no pump...

Does it have spark ? If so it's nothing to do with the crank sensor ! Does your blazer have a tachometer ? does it move when cranking the vehicle ? If so , it's not the crank sensor ! How to test an electric fuel pump GM CPI case study

Car turns over but will not start

Check and make sure that the engine is getting fuel, spark and has compression........ Check all fuses.......... If there is no fuel coming from injectors but there is a injector signal, fuel pump or fuel pump electrical circuit could be bad. If the fuel pump in the tank is starting to go bad, some times but not all the time, if you get a rubber mallet and have someone crank the car as you bang on the gas tank with the rubber mallet, the engine should start. This is only a temp. fix. Depending on what vehicle you have, a faulty fuel pump can be accessed from under rear seat, trunk or the tank has to be physically removed from the vehicle in order to service the fuel pump. If the engine has no spark, again, check all fuses.......... Most of the time for a no spark issue, a crank sensor goes bad or the ohm values are out of specs. To ensure that you have a faulty crank sensor, you can either rent or buy a fairly inexpensive scan tool to check for trouble codes and possibly look at live data the the RPM signal. If you crank the engine and the scan tool does not pick up an RPM signal, more than likely, you have a bad crank angle sensor. If the engine has no compression, if the engine has a timing belt....... check and make sure that the belt has not broke, skip a couple of teeth due to bad tensioner or teeth stripped out at the crank due to oil contamination. If your engine has a timing chain, check to see if chain is stretched, broken or skipped couple of teeth due to bad hydraulic tensioner. Hope this helps..........

My 1kz prado is not starting opened the injector nozzle no fuel comes when engine is cranked. Had a diagnosis fault fuel control sensor relay changed it but still no fuel come on the nozzle. Please advise...

When you switch the ignition on, you should hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds, then stop. What the system is now waiting for is the crank angle sensor input, to tell it to run the pump again. If you have a crank angle sensor problem (or immobiliser problem) the pump will not switch on again, so no fuel pressure. You need to establish if the pump runs and builds fuel pressure when you crank. Pump runs, but no pressure? No fuel getting into pump, out of fuel, or strainer blocked up, pump unit worn out.

My sunbird stalled on me a few days ago while in normal operation. It would start, but not run for more than a couple of seconds. I thought it might be the fuel filter, but the next morning it would...

Try inspecting your crank shaft sensor lead wire or replacing your crank shaft sensor. The ICM and also give you the same issues your having, but start with the crank shaft sensor first.
Here is a link that should help you get your DTC codes and hope it will lead you in the right direction to addressing your engine's issues.

I have a 2003 nissan altima 2.5S and it just died on me. Its been cutting off frequently and not wanting to start back up, I think its not getting fuel but Im not sure..I tried getting a jump but that...

It won't get fuel if the crank angle sensor goes out, because that's what triggers the fuel pump, once the ECM gets an input from this sensor it starts the fuel pump which will then allow the car to start. I know a crank angle sensor will kill one of these cars, I think think cam position sensor will just make one run like **** but I could be wrong. One of these sensors is sensors are your problem I'm leaning towards the crank angle sensor though.

Hi it sounds like your high pressure pump needs replacing. the pump can be repaired but you will have to find someone who knows about it, i fix a lot of them before. there is a spring that pushes out the piston in the pump so it can compress the fuel that spring losses its ability to extract the piston back out. i have pictures of one if anyone wants to see
