easy rule of nine applies here ,no1 down adjust no8 =9 -------no2 down adjust no7 =9 and so on clear as water .tappet setting here not sure but i would assume its about 12th inlet 15 exhaust

check the valve (tappets) clearances.. Gaps close up when warm, which could be leading to valves not closing. Exhaust 7-8 thou; inlet 6-7 thou. Could also be air measuring unit leaving the 'choke' on - 2 bolts on front of throttle body with wires and two small water hoses on it. Gauze soots up - spray liberally with carb cleaner. Faulty temperature sender could also cause this.

there are 2 possible parts here, one is a transmission speed sensor, this part tells the cruise what speed u set and keep it there, the other is the the actual actuator that holds the throttle at the right position to maintain set speed, other less common issue's make sure the brake and clutch (if manual trans only) cruise cut off switche's are ok

Best way is to call a salvage yard and ask how new a motor you can use. Just tell them your looking for one.

this is an over-ride convenience feature...that allows you to place the transmission in neutral to roll the car when the engine is off...useful for short moves inside a garage...use the regular key or any key-shaped object....
