The motor to my 2007 hyundai entourage windshield wiper is not working...mechanic stated it might be a linkage and if so how do i fix it myself?
While I was changing out struts on my 2007 Entourage, I had to remove the wiper motor. It was easy to do it, 4 - 10mm bolts and it was out.
Getting to the motor took a little more work but is not impossible. You have to remove the windshield vent cover (not sure what it's called), it's located at the bottom of the windshield, and when the hood is up, you can remove the wiper arms and those trim pieces and get to the motor easily.
This is a good general video that will show you how to roughly remove everything, granted this is a strut replacement video, but the beginning is what would be important to you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpSIv3mk98k
Hope that helps!

Remove the wiper arms and lower windscreen cover. Check the wiper motor linkages first .These clips normally come loose.Refit or replace the clip

You can get the part from your local auto parts or dealer. The replacement is very easy, just pop the black cap from the wide side of the arm and take the nut off (either a 10mm or 12mm socket will do) and pry up and down a couple fo times. Don't forget to make a little mark on the arm and the stud to realign it.

If the engine is still not warmed up yet and you take off like a bat out of hell, they will misfire occasionally. If it is a frequent problem change the spark plugs.
