I have an intermitant proplem with the low beams operating properly. Sometimes the low beams will not come on. It does not seem to be in the high/low beam switch on the colum. I have also checked to see if it could be the wiring in the colum, I moved the tilt up and down with no effect. It usually happens after you have turned the ignition switch off (like you go a short trip, then restart the car) and then restart the car. It does the same thing wheather you use the manual light switch or the lights are activated by the light sensing system. If you turn on the fog lights, they operate properly-comming on when you switch to low beams, even when the low beams do not come on.I've checked all the relays. I can not ever get the lights to come on by wiggling the beam switch on the colum, it's always happens when the ignition switch has been turned off and then back on, but you can never turn the switch on and off rapidly and make them work.Changes in temperture has no effect on problem. Does the head light circuit operate through the computer at all times? Any ideas on this problem.

sounds like the problem is the dimmer switch, get a price on the dimmer switch. If you have to, get one at a junk yard . It's cheaper.
