I think you should check your timing again, check the firing order of the distributor and if they are with there corresponding spark plug. Did you mark the connector or label them before disassembling. Maybe u left the timing in exhaust instead of compression

SOURCE: toyota corolla engine stopped

hey, this isnt a solution (i dont think), just a comment, the corolla is equipped with a timing chain, located inside the engine with the cams, the belt that you see is a serpentine belt to run all other components like the altinator, water pump and ac. just letting you know. Hope this info is helpful!

Fuel pressure at idle is normally 30-35psi. Start by taking the gas cap off, and putting it back on. That will De-pressurize the fuel system. Also, make sure you have gas in the car. I have seen gauges on these cars read wrong. I hope this helps.

My 2008 Saturn Outlook XR Stalled without warning in the middle of a busy road. I was able to start it again just long enough to get to the side of the road. Is my car toast? What can I do?

Since you were able to start it again, even if only for a short time, I would say the motor is likely OK and there is some sort of electrical issue (grounded wire, bad sensor, failing part, etc.)

Car will start right up when cold go down road dies starts back up once hot shut off starts back up let it set ten min. wont start has spark has fuel pressure put new fuel pump in old pump did same thing...

Could be a relay or other electrical issue.
You say it has fuel pressure and spark, if that were true it should run.
So it either does not have enough spark to fire the plugs under compression, or not enough fuel pressure going thru the injectors, or not at the right time.
You might want to check for trouble codes in the computer.
There has to be something missing from the equation when it won't start. You may have to check all of the plugs for fire and try some carb cleaner sprayed into the intake to boost fuel supply to find the issue.

Car wont start or fire even with starting fluid

To review - - if you have spark, fuel, and compression, you should have combustion.
In this case, if the timing belt is damaged, you might not have compression or spark at the right time.
A faulty crank or cam sensor could cause you not to have spark at the right time.
The spark plugs could be worn out or fuel fouled and not able to fire under compression.
Did the car die or just not start ?

'89 Eldorado starts fine but dies

It take two people to find out if it has sparkplug fire. If it is not getting any fuel you may pour a small amount into throttle body and see if it will start if you have spark. If you turn it over trying to start it you should see the injectors squirting fuel down into it.

Driving and car dies. Will not restart

It could be two choices either trouble with ignition or fuel. Check to see if you have fire at the spark plug. If you do then i would say its the fuel pump. If it was injector it would have to all of them at same time and that's not likely.
