I own a honda accord 2.2 ictdi 2005. The car recently lost its turbo altogether and the turbo warning light came on. I parked it for a few hrs while I was working and when I started it again the turbo light was still on, however the turbo was back to normal. What does this mean? Is it the turbo or a fuel filter problem or something else?

If you brought your car to Honda for service, they probably forgot to reset the maintenance reminder. If you took it to another shop, they probably did not know how to reset it. Anyway, the reset procedure is:

Put your key in the ignition
Turn the key to the II position for a couple of seconds
Then turn the key to the off position
Now push and hold in the odometer reset button
While still holding the odometer reset button, turn the key back to the II position
Hold for I think 10 seconds or so and your maintenance reminder light should reset it self.

Sounds like the ignitor in the distributor has gone bad. The cheaper way out is just buying a good used distributor from the bone yard. I've had this same problem several times on these Hondas.

either have a shop scan it for trouble codes or buy a scanner your self at local parts store have OBDII scanner and find out for your self it could be a number of things.

Its not your fuel pump! Its the cracks on the soldering inside the main relay.
