2003 saturn vue driver window does not work took out motor tested works fine no power to motor checked 30 amp fuse good switched out relay with known good one switched out window switch still no power rear driver side rear failed first checked boot from body to door for short

Until you get yourself a wiring diagram & change the
way you go about testing electrical circuits-your done

Why a new switch--no testing of the old one?

Checked the motor how-removed the door panel
& put battery voltage directly to --it in both directions?

All the other windows work?

No power to the window switch (need wiring diagrams there)

Wiring going into door not a problem !

BY PASS SWITCH BY RUNNING A FUSED JUMPER WIRE FROM THE BATTERY POSITIVE TERMINAL TO WINDOW MOTOR CONNECTOR, HOT SIDE, AND A NEGATIVE WIRE BACK TO BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL...IF WINDOW OPERATES....IT IS THE SWITCH

Check the power to the power window switch on the driver's side.

Std & SuperCab Engine compartment fuse panel, Fuse # 110 -> Accessory delay relay -> Light Blue w/ Black stripe wire.

If you do not have power at the light blue w/ black stripe wire with the key in the accy or run positions, next would be to pull the accessory delay relay from the cab fuse panel, and bench test it to make sure when power & ground are connected to the coil, that the normally open terminals close. Easy test, power & ground to terminal 85 & 86, ohm meter on terminals 30 & 87.



If the accessory delay relay bench tests good, check for continuity on terminal 87 to the light blue w/ black stripe wire at the window switch.
Another easy route is to install a jumper in the relay socket ( with the relay removed ) as shown in the diagram above, red line. This should have power at the power windows regardless of the key position. If not, the fuse is not good or the wire is broken, most likely in the rubber boot from the a pillar to the driver's door.

Check the wires were the hinge is, and see if they are fine. That's usually a good place for a wire to break, right where it bends a lot.

check under the hood drivers side there is a main power pannel with main fuses and relays check the relays

no relay, its the motor. good luck.

two separate switches normally have two separate fuses.voltage drop test wiper ground.also check switch output at different speeds. this vehicle may have control module and/or relay by itself or with the module. if output is at switch,intermediate component is the problem.

the relay is plobable bad. try testing or replacing the relay. it is located in the fuse box under the hood. it should be labeled PWR WDW
