Wheel baring i need a diagram on how to change the wheel baring

Have you tried changing the tyres? Put your front wheels on the back and vice versa, and see if the noise is still in the same place.

which wheel...? the flat tire or the spare tire..?

91 Grand Vitara? They don't show one till '99 just the Sidekick and the Sameri The 99 shows a bearing the the hub presses into. This bearing is the one for the front in a four wheel drive. You did'nt say if your four wheel or not either. This bearing costs 20 bucks at my parts store. This is not the right baring for a two wheel drive as I did'nt think you'd be asking if it was ywo wheel drive. the difference between a 91 and a 99 arn't likly as this information is for vehicals sold in the USA.

Clicking, especially while turning usually more so points to a problem with the CV joint, or axel, the easiest way to test a wheel baring is to jack up that side of the truck until the tire is off the ground, leave the lug nuts on and try to wobble the tire in all directions, if everything seems solid it is not likely the bearing casuse the sound, another note when a bearing starts to go bad, it usually hums opposed to clicks. Im sorry i dont have a diagram, but this proceedure should get you on the right track in diagnosing the issure, good luck!!

Easier solution is to remove the wheels from both sides, the take apart only one side. Use the intact side as your diagram to install the new parts on the other side. Then of course reverse procedure to do the remaining side.

BMW uses CV shafts for the rear drive axle, the wheel bearing there is a pressed in factory sealed bearing and not removable other than using a press to remove it, to press it you will need to remove the lower control arm.

How about the u-joints? Could be the ones to the front wheels or the u-joints on the driveshaft.

this brg is a sealed brg. it the special tools you need is the one that takes off the nut on the axle shaft and there is 4 bolt that hold the brg in place then you have to pull the brg out .
stop by a auto parts store and look at the brg assembly .
that will give you a good idea.
its not a hard job.
