You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

Odyssey power window switch

You will need to start with removing the drivers side interior door panel. You will need a test-light and check for power and ground at both the suspected switch and the window motor. At the switch, test for power and ground going into the switch. Then test he other side for power and ground going out. Test for power and ground at the power window motor too. Please write back with what you have found and write back, good luck.

2005 Chrysler T&C passenger side window went down and won't come up. All other automatic windows and door locks work fine - don't hear any motor sound / buzz / etc. when either driver side or passenger...

If the window had not been slow in it's action before it stopped working I'm guessing you only have a connection problem. I would remove the door panel and using a multimeter check the hot wire to see if power is reaching the switch. If it is check the connection on the motor. If power is reaching the motor through the switch you have a faulty motor. If at any point of testing there is no power backtrack the power wire to find where the break is. (it's usually in the door jam)

2002 pontiac montana passanger pwr window

I beleive you need to change the Power Window Switches Module in the drivers side door panel, as these connections are interlinked within this module and it is usually the first part that fails. Especially that you already changed the switches & motor in the passenger door and it still does not work. Once you remove the dual switch module in the driver's side door, you will understand what I mean. Plus it is really easy to access. Good luck! I have the same model, Claude

How do I remove the driver's door interior panel? Power window only works intermittently.

1, Disconnect the cable from the negative side of the battery.
2. Pry the courtesy light from the panel, and disconnect the wiring connector.
3. Remove all panel retaining scews. Most are covered. Look carefully for them all.
4. Remove door switch panel and switch assembly.
5. Memory Seats/Mirrors? If so equipped use a small flat pry tool ( I use a upholstery tool) and remove the mirror/seat switch and disconnect.
6. Using the pry tool: satrting at the bottom: pry the panel away from the door. Continue on the sides.
7. Lift Up and off the top of the window sill and locking knob.
8. Disconnect and remaining wiring connections.
9. Disconnect the door handle rod. Unsnap the plastic keep off the rod, and remove "L" shape out of plastic keeper hole.
10. Note how the waterseal (plastic/rubber) is placed and what wiring connections come out what openings.
11. Remove the waterseal.
12, Most of the Power Window Motors will actually come with the rails and/or the cables attached.
13. The rest is pretty much remove the old motor and cables and replacing them with the new one's. I have faith the rst you can figure out.

The drivers side window stoped working on my 2004 silverado the passenger side works fine

Try the fuse. The switch may be faulty so check by removing the inner door panel and connecting a 12v battery via two wires to the motor that winds the window up and down. If it goes up and down it's probably the switch which may just need a clean on the terminals.

Need to find a way to take off the drivers side window motor

Motor
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the door trim panel and watershield.

  5. Remove the motor from inside the door.
To install:
  1. Position the motor and drive to the cable drum housing and motor mounting bracket. Install the 3 motor screws and tighten.
