2006 chevy uplander inst. cluster lights

Instrument cluster repair or replace . 2003 to 2006 GM had faulty stepper motor's in the instrument cluster . Radio is also probably no good . Checking power an ground connection's for the radio an hooking up a scanner
Battery positive voltage is provided to the radio from RADIO AMP fuse in the fuse block - right instrument panel (I/P). The radio is grounded to G201. The radio is enabled/disabled by class 2 messages from the body control module (BCM). The BCM also allows for retained accessory power which allows the radio to operate for up to 10 minutes after the ignition is turned off. If you go to Autozone or Sears, they will do that for you, free,at Autozone, and free at Sears, if you buy the battery there.

Ivan, which face plate are you referring to? For the stereo, instrument cluster? Please be more specific.

As any earlier answers there is fuse 23 and 25 however there is also a fuse behind the lighter which is not replaceable. You can use the factory replacement or the hole it's too big for aftermarket. Hope this helps

replace the head light switch, check the plug in at the switch they have a bad problem with the wiring getting hot at the plug in , chevy makes a repair kit to replace the plug with a new style....good luck

normally its not the LED that goes out, its one of the 3 resistors along the edge of the circuit board that burns out , Chevy won't fix them, they say replace the entire cluster, however, if you have the blue connectors that house the bulbs,, you can get replacement bulbs very close to the ones in the vehicle at any radio shack, I had mine soldered in by a TV repair guy for 10 bucks

how do I remove my dvd player in my 2006 chevy uplander? I need to replace it and dont want to spend that kind of money to have it pulled out. I dont see any screws or bolts

open tailgate, remove 2 screws holding assembly in place. Pull tail lamp rearward to disengage 2 retainers on backside of assembly. Unplug connector. Replace assembly or bulbs now as desired
