Oil light comes on, then engine ticks, then car cuts off

I have a 1999 Chrysler 300m. I was stuck in the snow and all of the sudden white smoke started coming in thru the vents. Now the car runs fine for about 15 minutes then the oil light comes on and the engine makes a ticking sound then the car will cut off. After car cools it starts up nice and quiet. Just had the oil changed about a week before this happened. Oil still looks good(clear). Engine or Oil Pressure problem? Note: Car is NOT overheating or smoking.

When you got stuck in the snow did it impact hard (quick stop or small drop like a deeper ditch)? If this is the case it could be the sending unit might have been dammaged in some way. I would have the shop take a look at.

Had sludge in oil and when it was changed now the car smokes can not tell if it is gray smoke or blue smoke

was the sludge removed/flushed? It is not part of oil change. smoke color seems ok. I'd worry if it was black.

What wud cause my 300m 3.5 to burn antifreeze

A couple scenarios- none of them exactly cheap.
1- Head gasket blew or corroded; did it overheat at all recently? It may show a cylinder or two as mis-firing.
2- manifold leak. Are you also getting a lean error code?
3- porous casting or crack developed.

If you open the cap on the radiator hose with engine cold, or if you happen to have a radiator with a conventional cap, is there any oil film or sludge? Is there any on the dipstick/crankcase? If so, there "might be" a crack i nthe engine block. If you leave the cap off the hose or the radiator and start it cold- if you suddenly get a geyser of coolant- the problem is likely a cracked head or the head gasket is the issue.

"Some" white smoke may be visible when the engine is cold right after startup- this is a small amount and is reasonably normal if slight.

I was driving and my car suddenly died but i still had power now it wont turn over and my lights dim slightly

Based on your description, it sounds like you may have an engine siezure. Is there oil in the crankcase? Was the temperature gauge running high before it stopped? Did the engine seem to be loosing power or any instrument lights come on before it stopped?

My 1999 chrysler 300m is always stalling while driving i bought brand new batt. Could it be a sensor that cause it to keep cutting off.

Battery probably not the problem. If it is stalling while driving, is there a service engine soon or check engine light that goes on before it stalls? If so, there is likely a code or codes stored in the computer that should point you in the correct 'sensor' direction, or tell you why it is stalling.

Where is the oil pressure sending unit located on a 1999 chrrsler cirrus

There are three engines that come with this car, there are two engines 2.0 and2.4 with the oil pressure switch located on the right front of the engine block, and then if it has the 2.5 engine then the oil pressure switch is located on the leftside of the engine block above the oil filter, good luck,.
