Headlights blinking 95 concorde - recently replaced powertrain control module. Now when any door is opened, the headlights start flashing. Initial trace found that the headlamp delay relay was clicking. Remove relay and lights stop flashing. However, removing relay also kills instrument panel lamps. Currently have entire dash broken down and open. Have checked the body control module, headlight switch and connectors, headlamp dimmer switch, all door switches. No problems or defects (i.e. shorts or breaks) in items checked. Problem still exists. Any suggestions on what to check next. I have been able to identify the connector circuits involved at the body control module and the primary fuse/ juction box all the way down to the individual wire to disconnect to make the problem go away. However, I cannot leave the circuit disconnected. Any help in diagnosing where to go from here would be appreciated.

SOURCE: Need to remove the Headlamp/dash light

I have a 2002.
After making sure you remove all visible screws, these panel snap off and snap back on. Any resistance, re-look in that area for a missed screw(s).
Restated: Once all screws have been removed, pull out the panels. It is a lot easier that it looks.
Start with the lower steering column. Look from underneath with a flashlight. You will see the screws and screw holes. The lower "kick" panel (driver side) screws can be seen by looking underneath it.
Other than a screw driver, no "special tools" are needed.

SOURCE: I have a pt cruiser, the instrument panel has

The PCM is not a computer chip, it is the Powertrain Control module (engine computer). What needs to be done is a code reader needs to be connected to the diagnostic link of the vehicle, and checked for fault codes relating to this condition. I'm not sure how it was checked initially, but what I can tell you is if the PCM is found to be the issue, your not going to be able to repair it yourself. An expensive scan tool is needed to program the PCM when it is replaced, and is not available to the average person or technician. A Chrysler dealer will be the best option. It may also be related to the BCM (Body control module) since this problem seems to be related to the interior lights also.

My 2005 durango lights continusly flashing headlights fuses are all good as soon as you open the door they start flashing

First take your steering column cover off and look for a broken or loose wire, If not, sadly it is probably your "body control module" has gone bad, sad because there around $300.00 new to replace! Pray it's a broken or loose wire, this happens with tilt steering! Good Luck!!!

1998 chrysler concorde code P1684 P0122

P01684 just says that the battery has been disconnected within the past 50 starts. If you have already replaced the TPS and still get the P0122 code, it could be a short in the wiring or a problem with your Powertrain Control Module. Other names for the PCM is ECM and ECU. Engine Control Module and Engine Control Unit

Engine light is on code coming up p0601

This code indicates an error or fault in the powertrain control module memory. A common procedure known as memory flashing is performed at the dealer. The vehicle's computer (powertrain control module) memory is erased, then replaced with an updated version of the previous driveability program. If the powertrain control module doesn't store the program, then a replacement module would be the next likely service.

What causes a p 0327 diagnostic code on a 95 contour

P0327 - Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Low Input Bank 1 or Single Sensor
First check the knock sensor connector. If the connector is clean and secure, replacing the knock sensor usually takes care of the problem.

- An excessively low voltage from the sensor is sent to Powertrain Control Module (ECM) or Engine Control Module (ECM)

The knock sensor is attached to the cylinder block. It senses engine knocking using a piezoelectric element. A knocking vibration from the cylinder block is sensed as vibrational pressure. This pressure is converted into a voltage signal and sent to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) or Engine Control Module (ECM).

Symptoms
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Lack/Loss of Power

Possible causes
- Knock sensor circuit short to GND.
- Knock sensor circuit short to PWR.
- Knock sensor circuit open.
- Damaged knock sensor.
- Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM) or Engine Control Module (ECM).

Test and check it. Hope helps.

Circuit Description
Modules connected to the class 2 serial data circuit monitor for serial data communications during normal vehicle operation. Operating information and commands are exchanged among the modules. When a module receives a message for a critical operating parameter, the module records the identification number of the module which sent the message. These node alive messages are used for State of Health monitoring. A critical operating parameter is one which, when not received, requires that the module use a default value for that parameter. When a module does not associate an identification number with at least one critical parameter within 5 seconds of beginning serial data communication, DTC U1000 or U1255 is set. When more than one critical parameter does not have an identification number associated with it, the DTC will only be reported once. The following modules communicate on the class 2 serial data circuit:
• Audio amplifier
• Cellular telephone module w/UV8
• Dash integration module (DIM)
• Digital radio receiver
• Driver door module (DDM)
• Driver door switch assembly (DDSA)
• Electronic brake control module (EBCM)
• Electronic suspension control module (ESC)
• Front passenger door module (FPDM)
• Inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module (SDM)
• Instrument panel cluster (IPC)
• Instrument panel integration module (IPM)

• Vehicle communication interface module (VCIM)

I got a p0700 code which is trans control system on my wifes 97 Concorde. What does it mean.

this is the TCM (transmission control module) telling the PCM (powertrain control module) to turn on the check engine light due to a fault in the auto trans, the code for the fault is stored in the TCM, to get this cheched you need to have the dealer run a TCM fault code test.

Interior Lights Flash On and Off By Themselves

Pull one door sensor at a time and test. They get compressed too far and eventually no longer open the circuit. If you find a switch compressed too far, just replace it...

Door switches are self adjusting, to allow for differences in jamb tolerance... Start with driver's door.
