The check engine light came on in my 2001 aurora the diagnostic test came up with 2 p0410 codes i want to find out how much it would cost to be fixed if it is the secondary air injection
See this link for a common problem...

the EGR pintle is most likley clogged with carbon try cleaning it first if that does not solve it then replacing it will
SOURCE: check engine p0 412 secondary air injection
Why would you change the air pump? Did you test or change the valve/switch,that is giving you the code?
SOURCE: had the engine control codes retrieved because
Expensive. Depending on whether it's just the air pump (usually) or solenoid valves, couple to several hundred bucks. Others can fix this, but need salvage or ebay parts.
SOURCE: check engine light is on. code reads p0410
Your car uses an air pump, usually driven by the serpentine belt, to add air to the exhaust manifold to help burn any gas left in the exhaust ahead of the catalytic converter. This code is telling us there is something wrong with the valve or solenoid that controls the airflow into the manifold. I don't have details on how to troubleshoot those components, but a good scan tool may be able to do it.
SOURCE: I have a 2001 Olds
a scan can hide other things like vacuum leaks etc--inspect engine for any unusuals--did u clear code-try disconn the batt for a min
