SOURCE: need keyless entry code for a 04 an 99 ford explorer

On your 99 model the module is located behind the left quarter trim panel,mid-way.You maybe able to see it by removing the speaker cover or the cupholder on top. The module will have a sticker with a 5 digit code.
On the 04 the model is behind the right quarter trim panel toward the front about even with the right rear door stricker.

Lost keyless entry code

Keyless entry code was on a small strip attached to the left trunk hinge in my 94 T-Bird. It wasn't anything fancy just a 1/4x2" strip with 5 numbers on it Your owners manual should give you the location, but mine was kind of vague like drivers side of trunk.I hope this helps
