Car was in storage for a year. Battery was flat. I charged battery there were a few issues that sorted themselves (wouldn't start on button, height adjustment light on) but now I am driving along and at low rev's the engine just stops. Nothing works at all including hazards and clock! The key won't come out of ignition and I just sit and wait. After 5 mins lights come on and I can start the car normally. Please can anyone help and thankyou for previous help received yesterday.
Need to check the charging system..when a car sits for a long time the battery should be disconnected or compl, etely removed..sounds like operating voltage is too low check the alternator for stuck brushes or malfunctioning regulator..should show around 14.5 -16 volts..

unlock driver door twice consecutively because that's how u disarm the car alarm. As for the radio, input the code that's in ur booklet. If u don't have it, call ur local dealer with the car's serial number and they will give u the radio code. It's 4 digits.

it is not uncommon for a failing starter to make a click noise, but check other things before jumping into that, clean the battery terminals, have the battery tested, make sure you are getting power to the starter and have a good ground.

Dont have a clue about the hazards but the connections on the starter could be bad

First of all your car needs too have the battery disconnected but only the negative terminal, usualy black in color if you have caps over the terminals. second wait 10 minutes before you reconnect it. third have a auto parts store hook it up too a code reader, it will tell you everything that you want too know about what is causeing the problems.....most places do it for free as a service.

I had the batterys both checked today and the emergency battery was completely flat and buckled. The emergency battery is now replaced and the car is running perfectly. What a relief. Thank you for the help
