I am trying to raise the rear end of my caddy so the larger rims (20') will fit without rubbing against the wheel well. Since it is a 96 it has the CVRSS. I disconnected the sensor arms from the rear height control box and control arm. The rear end still only goes high enough to level of the vehicle. So what is my next step besides getting airbags or new shocks with the air inlet valve.
I had the same problem on my 96 deville but i ook the air lines off the factory compressor and added a manule air valve work just fine running a 100 pounds of pressure of coarse im running 30 series tires on my 20 inch daytons witch is as low as u can go i also cut the lip where they rolled the body panel into the wheel wells oooooo it lookso sick good luck it not 2 hard but not easy either
You may want to buy regular heavy duty shocks and put on the car to raise the back up high enough to do what you are trying to do.

rear end will not level. it sits a lot higher than the front. checked fuses under hood and seat, all operational. i hear the compressor running upon start up. is there a sensor? if so, where?
