I safely assume that this car runs on gas not diesel. When you burn gasoline, as well as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and a whole host of other noxious gases, you get water, produced as a gas (vapour). When this water vapour meets a cooler surface (the inside of your muffler system) it condenses into liquid water and will continue to condense until the surfaces around it give it sufficient energy (via heat) to convert it back to gas.

When you start a car, the water vapour turns to water in your muffler, the pressure of the expanding gases of combustion push the water along with it towards an area of lower pressure (outside the muffler via your tailpipe). Until your muffler system warms up, you WILL get water from your tailpipe.

ASSUMING that your engine is running sweetly, that is, if it is running like a bag of old nails, then you may have a cylinder head gasket (seal) problem. If so, take it to the Honda shop.

Why my car leaks water from the muffler pipe when i start the engine

Hello, Unless you have to keep filling your cooling system, a small amount of water coming out of your muffler pipe is common. It is condensation created when your engine burns the moisture in the air. Some engines create a lot of condensation, others not so much.

My Pajero back fires and hold back in motion

Backfire problems sometimes involves mufflers and exhaust pipes, ignition timing and carburetor.

* in carburetor, might some residue, rust and other particles is stacked up that's,might get overflowed and this is one reason why it backs fire. need to overhaul the entire carburetor and it should be clean as well

* Ignition timing or distributor is connected to high-tension wire that may cause lose thread. this may fix when the engine is starting while adjusting distributor to a certain timing.

* muffler and exhausted pipe, it the some pipe got to much carbon and rust, this will stop the pressure coming from the engine and it takes back fire. To solve this, simply spray water on muffler using a hose and then start accelerating gas until carbon and rust comes out. (this is what i've done in my car,and it works)

* intake manifold is also a reason why it back fire because if the fuel engage too much and also said to be lack of flow, fixing this problem may do correcting or balancing the mixture of fuel percentage.

I have no hot air coming out off my heater

You need to change the heater core nothing else will help. You could try charging the heater core with water from a garden hose> Shoot water to the heater in to the 2 hoses next to ur car battery. Make sure u dont shoot water in to ur engine the heater core is inside ur car not under the hood, u just have 2 hoses going under the hood. after u see clean water coming from the heater should start working better.

Temp gauge warning light comes on when using air conditioner?

Sounds like a hose is busted. Check all hoses for ruptures. Check coolant overflow reservoir for holes/leaks.

Engine overheats, especially on the highway. Did one of those autoparts flush and it didn't work. Changed the water pump and the thermostat before the flushing. No milky color on the oil, no white steam...

Make sure the electric radiator fan is coming on watch it while it's running for about ten minutes if it doeasn't come on in that time replace the fan relay or fan itself if the relay doesn't fix the problem.

Lots of water out the muffler on a 1989 Nissan Sentra

IF THERE IS A LOT OF WATER COMING OUT OF THE EXHAUST, AND THE COOLANT LEVEL IS LOW, THEN YOU HAVE A BROKEN HEAD GASKET. ANOTHER SIGN OF A BROKEN HEAD GASKET IS WATER SHOOTING OUT OF THE OVERFLOW BOTTLE WHILE IT IS UNCAPPED. CHECK WHEN IT IS RUNNING COLD. HOPE THIS ANSWERS YOUR QUESTION. GOOD LUCK. THANK YOU FOR AN HONEST RATING AND FOR USING FIX-YA.
