92 Camaro injectors wont squirt gas

I have a 92 camaro rs with the 305. When I turn the ignition on you can here the fuel pump ingauge as normal. But the car just turns over and over when trying to start it. If you put a little gas in the throttle body it will crank right up and shut back off. Any ideas???? Thanks

    If you fix this PLEASE let me know what you did. I have the EXACT same car... It starts, but it acts like its not getting gas and then it stops. Once It stays going it sometimes struggles at stop lights to get going.

    i have the same car and had almost the same problem, except mine was getting to much gas, it would flood and couldn't keep itself idling for 2 minutes without dying. for me the problems started after replacing fuel pump. we replaced EVERYTHING that had to do with fuel delivery, and the car sat for almost a year! in the end, my brother-in-law said the fuel return line was crossed i guess. all i know is after fixing that i could drive the car again, it's not perfect but i'm not complaining! hope this could help you some. good luck

HI. Engine loping at idle in a stock RS camaro will likely be caused by bad fuel injectors. The throttle body on your car has two large injectors and usually the drivers side will short out leaving the passenger side over-working. You can see this occuring if you remove the air cleaner lid and use a very bright flashlight to look at the spray pattern for both injectors. They should look the same roughly. There could be a vacuum leak at the MAP sensor hose, there could also be stuck open EGR valve as well, commonly there is a problem with the Engine Coolant Temperature sensor and wiring connector that may be the cause of your problem. As far as the vapor leak in the fuel system, check the fuel hoses near the gas tank and the smog canister under the hood for cracks or broken places. I have had to replace many fuel pump o-ring seals on these cars though. The spot where the fuel pump hanger mounts into the fuel tank has a large diameter o-ring that cracks and splits very commonly, also if the fuel pump was replaced, sometimes people don't quite get the seal to stay in place just right.

I have a 92 Camaro 305 RS, she will not crank and injectors are not pulsing, fuel pump is running. i thought the chip in the key could be bad and so had new keys cut but still not cranking.

The fuel pump in my 92 Camaro RS isn't coming on. When I drove my car for about 9 miles it died out, and when I tried to start it the fuel pump didn't come on. The fuel pump has been replaced twice...
