I have fuel coming to the motor but not going in it for a 98 chevy cavalier

Check the fuse for the injectors. If you have a test light, check for power to the injectors with key on. Pull off one injector connector to check for power. 2 wires to each injector-one is the power wire and powered anytime key is on. The other is the ground wire going into the computer, where it is internally grounded for a split second to pulse the injector-fuel is then sprayed out.
If power circuit is good, test the ground circuit: clip a test light lead to the POSITIVE POST of battery. Insert tester probe into the ground terminal of injector-the one that has no power with key on. Now have someone crank the engine over: test light should be blinking.
If both tests work-steady power to injectors with key on, and blinking tester on ground terminal with engine cranking, then the injector drive circuit and the ground circuit is working.
Let me know what you find. Good luck.

I have replaced the fuel pump on my 1991 chevy cheyenne im getting fuel to the injectors but they aint working

Check the injector fuse. With key on, injectors should have constant power available to them on one wire. The other injector wire is ground wire. With constant power to injectors, all it takes to pulse the injectors is for the computer to ground the injector ground inside the computer for a split second, and pulse occurs, causing fuel to spray out the injectors.
So if injectors aren't working, either the injector drive circuit (the power to injectors) or the injector ground circuit is lost. You can buy a cheap "noid light" at any auto parts store, and check the injector circuit. Just plug the light into the injector connector and crank the engine over. If the light is blinking, circuit is good. If no light, the circuit has a problem, either on the drive side or the ground side.
Here's a way to check the ground circuit separately. Use a test light clipped to the Positive battery post. Probe the ground wire terminal of the injector connector while the engine is cranked over. The test light should be blinking-meaning the computer is grounding the circuit normally and would be causing the injectors to pulse, if power is available to them.

1. Freeze Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and see if the problem can be duplicated.

2. Wiggle tug test wiring for #2 injector.

3. Scope the #2 injector for a glitch when the misfire happens. 1. Test for the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR)/coolant adapter gasket leaking EGR gases past the gasket.

2. Connect a vacuum pump to the MAP sensor, block the vacuum source, reset fuel trims, start the engine and add typical vacuum to the MAP sensor and check operation.

3. Test the spark output with 2 High Energy Ignition (HEI) testers, at 25 KV air gap each, at the spark plug wires to ground at wires 2 and 3, then 1 and 4 at cranking speed and engine running.

4. Test the fuel injector pulse width at the injectors compared to the scanner data.

5. Disconnect the O2 sensor, reset the fuel trims, test the system operation in open loop, test injector pulse width. Compare to the closed loop operation injector pulse width and engine operation.

6. Test the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) powers and grounds during the problem.

Had no spark. Replaced ignition mod, 2 coil packs, and computer. I now have fire; problem is engine will not run, the fuel injector sprays fuel (too much i think). When i unplug the injector the engine...

Check for any wiring pinch which might have occurred when the injector was replaced. The injector is driven directly by the computer, so it seems to point at the new computer as being faulty. (pulse signal is always 'on')
