DID you put in new gas, fuel treatment, new sock on fuel pump, all new fuel filters, buy inline fuel pressure gauge, check for codes?, this is not a carb where you pour fuel at it , do you have a repair manual for your truck and have you checked troubleshooting guide?

Out of the blue my chevy colorado won't start if i disconnect the battery then hook it reconnect after a couple minutes it will start

does the unit crank after it fails? I would check all of my battery connections you may have a loose ground either at the battery or at the engine. You may also have a bad starter relay located un the fuse panel under the hood

2006 chevy colorado out of the blue will not start. just makes clicking sound. Started it drove out of garage shut it off. Went back out 5 minutes later won't start. Clock even reset.

Sounds like a bad battery. A number of chain auto parts stores will check it and your charging system free. Before that, if your battery has removable caps, check the water level, if it's down, fill to the bottom of the fill rings and charge the battery, if you have a battery hydrometer, all the cells should have about the same charge level, if one or more show a lot lower than the others, battery is probably bad. Hope this helps.

My 2006 chevy colorado is making a clicking sound and won't turn over

Your Main Battery is Flat, get a jump start if its safe or remove the battery and hook it up to a charger. Maybe you left your lights on, or your alternator isnt charging the battery properly when your driving around. Sometimes this can be the bushes located in the alternator.

My 2006 Colorado has intermittent starting problems. It will just crank and crank as if it were out of gas or electrical problems. Let it sit for 10 minutes it starts right up as if nothings wrong, and...

You can check Edmunds.com for possible recalls. I suspect bad or sticky oil pressure switch. Reason; Oil pressure switch is also a safety that controls your fuel pump. When oil pressure drops like in an accident or rollover, it cuts electric fuel pump off. Have you had it into a dealer for diagnosis??? Another note: when was last "healthy" tune up? Plugs, wires, All fluids & filters including fuel filter? You didn't mention mileage.

2006 chevy colorado cranks over but wont start

2005 Colorado 4x4 stick shift – I had the same thing happen and it had to do with the passlock system – it will keep your truck from starting for approximately 10 minutes, yes you will have to wait and let it sit- if you try to start it will just turn over forever. On my truck the solution was to change my starting procedure, I now keep the truck in neutral-turn the key all the way for a few seconds and then push in the clutch- it starts every time. If you have an automatic I don’t know..
