there is a belt routing diagram on a decal under the hood somewhere.

A diagram should already be available inside the hood on the radiator support of the fan covering. If not, follow this link: https://skippingtheinbetween.blogspot.com/2017/03/30-2006-dodge-ram-1500-serpentine-belt.html. Basically, if the pulleys are grooved, the belt ribs ride on it, and if the pulley is smooth, the backside rides on it.

Go to daycoprducts.com. Click on vehicles and light trucks, then on belts, then on serpentine belt. Then on the right side of the page click on finding your vehicle and get an illistration number. Then close that page out and go to illistrations. The illistration number should 8-? or something like that.

the water pump and belt tensioner are the two smooth pulleys.
