I have 2003 ford focus -the key will go in ignition but won't turn. Also wheels are straight but steering wheel is turned n will not move..can anyone please help me?

It sounds like the steering wheel lock is in a bind. I suggest you put one hand on the key and the other on top of the steering wheel. You then try moving the wheel slightly to one side then the other as you try to turn the key. It might take a bit of oomph to get the steering wheel to move. I hope this helps.

If I have to turn my steering wheel or move it up and down for it to start whats my problem.

Sounds like a possible short inside the colum, I would check the ignition switch (key switch) if not that check the ignition switch from there check for a short in the steering colum.

Ignition key won't turn

Try turning the key while jerking the wheel left and right and depressing the brake pedal. If that won't work try another key.

its excessive wear or you have a bent road wheel, have you hit a big hole lately?
check all your tyres first,,,
