I drive an '03 Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally. When I drive at speeds lower than 2500 RMP I have a humming/quick rattling noise that comes from my steering colum, When I am driving faster than 2500 RPM or when my steering wheel is turned the noise goes away. Any ideas what I can do to fix this problem. Any ideas will help. Thanks!

sounds like your power steering pump, check to see if you blew a hose, check the fluid level,check the power steering pump belt tension or if it just broke, then check the pump out itself.

It will be on Either the Right or Left Side of the Steering Column Under the Dash. Also, Some of the OBD Outlets were Under the Hood Mounted Near the Firewall. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!
