Your car doesn't have a distributor cap or rotor. If car cranks but doesn't start and there is no spark check the two ignition modules located on tope of the number 3 and 4 cylinders.
If not cranks at all check the battery for charge, starter, fuses
If cranks no start check wiring(replace) , distributor cap (replace), rotor, ignition coil

hi my toyota 95 having the same problem, the fuses are ok, the wires are ok, (this engine have dristributor or cap distributor), the coils on the sparkplugs are ok, timeing belt ok. There must be another solution.
By the way the engine it does crank, but no start like if no gas, obviosly it have gas half tank, and after checking fuel pump I found that is ok.
