Does anyone have directions on how to change a left door handle on a 1995 Buick Regal 2 door?

I need to replace door handle on driver's side of 2 door car. The handle is the type that fits vertically on the door.

SOURCE: how to replace turn signal lever on 1992 buick

Check and make sure the back light (if the front one is out) isn't shorted. The door opening from the inside only is pretty common. You will need to take off the inside door panel. To do this you will need to remove anything that has a screw in it, hand hold, release lever etc. Once you have done this you will need a large standard screw driver or panel clip tool would be better (its 'u' shaped on the end) start from the bottom of the panel and work your way around the edges then across the top. Some panels on the top will just hook in the top of the door (prevents people from mawling the painted door) so once you have the sides and bottom un done lift up on the panel, if it still feels solid, pop the top clips off too. Once you have done this you will probably see a clear plastic, you will have to get through this. It is recomended that you replace the plastic, but not neccesary, especially something this old. You should have the window up (out of the way of linkages) and you should be able to see a linkage that came disconnected. a lot of the time it will be a clip that breaks and the linkage will just fall out. You can buy this clip from any parts store, otherwise tape will work fine, but not to tight to allow rotation. If it is the handle, you can get replacements of them too, but you will have to take the tumblers out for the key.

SOURCE: Trying to remove the door

Are you talking about the door handle hinge? The door handle and hing do not need to be removed to remove the door panel. Remove the door handle bezel and the hole will be big enogh to come straight off with the door panel. See the picture below. This is the only diagram supplied in the service manual. It shows the bezel for the driver's door but it states that the rear door is similar. If you allready have the bezel off, or you are not talking about the door handle hinge, I don't know what you are talking about when you say "hinge thing"

Have a 1995 buick regal that front passenger door will not unlock. not with key inside lock or power lock anyone have any ideas

could be that one of the rods inside the door has shifted to where it is not allowing it to unlock, sounds like its just jammed. I would remove the inside door panel if you can and look at the rods leading to the lock and the door handle see if they need to be freed if so after freeing them grease them real well with any kind of gear grease so it wont happen again.

Dont no how to remove left side drive door panel 1999 buick regal

there are screws you have to remove. make sure you've found and removed all of them. then the door is held in with clips from the back side. work a pry bar or a long flat screw driver around the edges to pop them loose then you should be able to get your hands behind it to find the other clips. in some cases the handles have to come off before the panel can be removed

I have this problem every year with my car, 1993 buick regal custom, 3.8. What happens is it gets cold, warms up a bit, and ice or snow melts and gets in the door, then it gets cold again and it freezes. I go to unlock and open the door from the outside and this problem arises.

There is a vertical rod on the left side of the drivers side, right side of the passenger side, that gets bent, from trying to open the door when that mechanism is frozen up. Just bend it back, a TINY bit and it will start working.

I got tired of taking my door apart every time it happened so i cut a little "door" in the cover thing, so i can get at that bar.

I also tried coating it in grease and that seems to lessen the frequency.

R/F door trim will have to be removed. Most likely you will find linkage disconnected from the inside latch of the outside door handle. You might even find a broken piece of the door handle requiring replacement
