Could be the ignition switch (electrical part ) GM has known ignition switch problems .

That is just like a 2005 buick century, and it is normal. When you open the driver's door, the radio turns off. Does yours turn off too?

I doubt Chevy Parts carries them. I'd get one and either search online for one that matches or go to Radio Shack.

Check the light bulb on the indicator light behind the dash?

You may have to have the radio rewired to not run from main ignition, therefore allowing you turn off your lights without loosing the radio.

sounds like it's a fuse issue even tho the radio works,, my vehicle has a radio fuse and a assessory fuse the controls the lighter and lights on the radio
