I know that the handle is broken so I purchased a replacement handle. There are no instructions with it. I was told that I do not have to remove the inside door panel and that the installation is can be done from the outside and that it is relatively easy to do. Is that correct? Could you give me some step by step instructions? Thanks for any help that you may be able to provide.

let down the window, take a chain with a hook on it ,hook it on to the handle and if your strong enough pull the chain hard and hold it from the inside and once again if your strong enough turn around and give it a bruce lee with boots on. be careful to put a few towels between the chain and the finish you don't want to wear the solution afterward.

R/F door trim will have to be removed. Most likely you will find linkage disconnected from the inside latch of the outside door handle. You might even find a broken piece of the door handle requiring replacement

Hi Dear Lov, Remove the plugs from the arm rest and behind them there will be deep seated screws. Push in a long screw driver and remove them. Next lift the window control buttons and when removed from the housings disconnect the electrics. (Keep the switches handy) next take a flat blade tool and starting at the bottom of the door, insert the blade between the panel and the door and gently pull the blade towards you. When the studs pop move to the next until all are released. Lift the panel off and then refit the switch to the cables. Reach inside the door and feel for the operating rods which extend from the handle to the latch mechanism. at each end you will feel plastic clips which will rotate away from the rods when pushed in the same plain. These clips beak easily so be careful. It is worth getting a mirror and flash light and studying them before trying to release them. Check both sides as the mechanism may be different at each end. Once disconnected you will notice two hole opposite the exterior door handle, through which a socket spanner fitted to an extension will fit. Remove the nuts and then remove the handle from the outside. When fitting everything back together make sure the rods are correctly fitted. You may find you need to lift or lower the window, or maybe remove it completely to do the job. Regards John
