Automatic door would not close. I did a manual override and forced it closed. then when reopened a cable is falling out of the track. Now when driving the poor van is sounding all the alarms and flashing all the lights. How to fix it?
Your wire has come off door inside the door try unpluging fuse or the noise alarm under dash you need to replace the wires inside the sliding door to get it to close right again they have got tangled some how and tore loose.

THERE IS NO MAN OVERIDE, REMOVE THE DRIVE MOTROR AND THE SUNROOF WILL CLOSE.
SOURCE: Sliding door alarm sounds constantly
there must be a switch some where , around the door to shut it off when door shut

It sounds as though one of the proximity sensors is faulty. Also try giving the tracks for the door a good shot of white spray lithium grease. The door may be binding enough so that the emergency reverse is kicking in.

Replace the rear door pin-switch if needed after testing proper operation.
It is telling the alarm the door is open all the time.
Most likely corroded terminals or wire.

Look at safey neutral swith for being broken. Replace safety neutral switch and your problem is gone. Yellow wire on sliding door control module is control by safety neutral switch which also provides power to back up light.

ours did this multiple times, they always fixed it when under warranty. First time after warranty they said it would cost over $6,000 they cut cables because even they could not get the bells to stop. They said they had no solutions other than to take doors off again and put new doors on. Good luck!
