A little while back my blower motor stoped working on anything but high. i replaced the blower switch but still just had high, then high quit. i replaced the resistor pack and swapted out the blower motor and still nothing. the only thing left to check is the blower relay switch. i don't know where this located. if someone could help i sure would appreciate it. Thanks
I have a 1998 Ford Contour. Believe it or not the ABS and the Blower Motor share the same fuse. It's a yellow 60 amp and you have to take off the battery to get at it. Of course this happened twice in the 6 years I had the car, both times in the dead of winter. Tires Plus in Pennsauken, NJ replaced it. Other than that, no complaints with my Contour.
I believe the problem is with the blower relay. This relay is under the dash. Go to any auto parts store, like an autozone and they will show you what it looks like.
