2003 Liberty engine runs rough then stalls

I have a 2003 Jeep liberty 3.7 and My engine is running very rough it starts fine and Idles until it gets warm then it wants to stall. A shop said I needed a new catalytic convertor but I an exhausting, I took the convertor out and ran it and it still did the same thing. I'm leaning toward spark plugs, since they are resessed maybe some liquid is in the cavity. Any help would be greatly appreciated this is my only transportation and I need it ASAP. Thanks for your help.

Time to check sensors. I'd start with tps, map and mass air flow sensor if used. Many "supermarket" style parts outlets will scan your system for codes. Start there to give yourself some general direction on what to look at.(of course you will check ignition components, cap, wires, rotor and coil... believe it or not, even if there is residue around plugs, it generally won't give you that problem, though it should be blown out of there with compressed air or something before removing plugs)

2003 jeep liberty wont start

Could be the battery, the starter, or a bad connection between the battery and starter.
A mechanic would check for voltage and ground at the starter first.

First Joe check all your fuses, Second if you can get a code check some parts stores like O'reilly's may do it for free. Check your spark plugs may be time for a tune up. Check for broken vaccum hoses in the engine and vaccum lines.
