I have lost the owners manual (No, I don't keep it in the glove box) and subsequesntly the code.
Does anyone know the master code that Honda claims that they have?

Look in the glove compartment for a sticker with the code and also look in the paperwork/owners manual in the glove compartment for the sticker,or it's off to the dealer, then write the code in the owners manual for next time.
If you've ever lost your radio code for your Honda Accord, you know how frustrating it can be. You may have to go to your local Honda dealership and pay a fee to have them look up the code for you! Or, you can take a few minutes to find the code yourself. Here are 5 methods to get your Accord radio code for free. Once you have the code, you will need to enter it into your radio to unlock it.
You need to call the dealership in order to obtain this ...this is used as an anti theft deterrent and you only get 3 try's before you are locked out for 1 hour before you can retry entering the code again
look in the owners Manuel or for any other paper that the previous owner or Salesman wrote this code down on and put in the glove box or elsewhere
No-one is ever particularly happy to here this, but this is the way it is; we do have to keep in mind that the original idea of codes on radios was to prevent people who steal them from being able to use them.
So, if an audio unit with theft protection is disconnected from electrical power, you must enter a unique code number into the unit or it will not work. This code and the audio unit’s serial number are listed on the anti-theft ID card that comes with the vehicle. If this card is lost, you must obtain the audio unit serial number in order to get the radio code (some people say that they have found the code on a sticker inside the glove compartment, but I wouldn’t count on that). Some newer vehicles allow you to retrieve the audio unit serial number electronically from the radio. Refer to your owner’s manual for the specific procedure (the following usually will work: Turn the radio off. Push the preset 1, preset 6, and power buttons at the same time, then quickly release. The serial number will come up in two sets of numbers.) Some older vehicles (model year 2003 and older) require a visit to the dealer in order to retrieve the audio unit serial number (or you can remove the unit and get the serial number from the back of the radio). Once you have the audio unit serial number, you can call Auto Customer Service at (800) 999-1009 or have the dealer look up the radio code.
Here is the URL for the Honda Owner page. If you register (no charge) you are able to get radio codes using the VIN number of your car, the serial number of your radio, and the Phone Number and Zip Code that you give them when you register.

Honda indicated the following (since there are an almost infinite number of codes): Once you have the audio unit serial number, you can call Auto Customer Service at (800) 999-1009 or have the dealer look up the radio code. Hope this helps you.
lol, sorry to laugh but i truly find it amazing how so many of these so called Guru's especially ones that are supposed "Honda Expert" can pass out so much mis-information and waste peoples valuable time!!!! On any HONDA/ACURA car with stock anti-theft radios/navi units require a 5 digit code(radio), 4 digit for navi units. When the vehicle was originally stocked in as new vehicle there were 4 places the prep tech would have made this code available. A card the size of credit card w/ S/N of device and anti theft code on it would have been placed in owners manual, warrenty packet in glove box(which after several different owners is usually lost),2 small sticker with same info would have been placed in hidden spots on car.As standard these places would be either on interior of glove box lid,on interior of center armrest lid(if available) ,or on inside back of one of the underhood fuse/relay box's.It is also noted and reported through Honda corp.,through dealership computer.if any of these card, stickers are unavailable, call dealership with vehicle VIN # & 70% of the time the dealer can retrieve lock code through computer by Vin number.Very last if all these options fail you, remove radio/or Navi unit and write down S/N of unit and either I or any Honda dealer can retrieve anti-theft code from Honda corperation and get you going again! There is absolutely no way of reprogramming a radio to new code to unit, i would like to apologize for some of the mis-leading information put out by so called experts on here,it makes the the rest of us real experts look bad.Let me know if you need the that code looked up by Vin or RADIO s/n, GOOD LUCK AND THANKS JOEL
you will need to pull radio out and retrieve s/n off of stereo. with s/n i can get anti theft code for you. if you need help with removing radio let me know.
If you purchased the car from a dealership, contact them. They should have the code it's four digits. I had the same thing happen to me a few months ago.
