On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls

Hi, there should be a little cap covering a screw by the inside door handle, remove cap then screw (it might be a torx) pry off the armrest/switch panel and you will find some screws there, also some by the lower edge of panel. pry off the trim cover from the bottom, usually they have a sticky black butyl rubber holding them down and sealing, stretch it out and cut it with a v sharp knife, keep the edges clean and it will re seal fine. Sometimes if you disconnect renault window wiring the window has to go up and down once, it will only go a little at a time, keep operating the switch and after one up and down it re sets itself and works normally.

I have an electrical problem with my 2005 Renault Megane Scenic, and I need a wiring diagram. How do I get one? Thanks for any help. Jonathan

I could almost put money on that problem being related to the doors on that car, as that's where many of them originate.

Sorry, I don't have a diagram with me, but if it is a door issue, or any other in fact, then please describe it. Many techs don't require wiring diagrams for many situations, so if it is something we can provide a solution to without a diagram, then I'd be interested to learn more.

My Renault Megane Scenic S reg heater is not working

Most likely to be a faulty resistor block, which has 3 resistors and a thermal fuse controlling fan speeds 1,2 and 3, maximum speed 4 by-passes the resister block. It may also be poor electrical connections to the resistor block caused by overheating. Renault ask for approximately £350 to carry out repairs, a replacement resistor block will cost £50. If you decide to carry out the repairs yourself, be advised that if you are not competent to carry out such work you, could cause electrical damage or worse an electrical fire.

Renault megane scenic 1.9 dt r reg 1997 cold start problems

This being a diesel, lack of compression is your worst enemy. These symptoms sound like a blown head gasket. Check your coolant for signs of oil, and check your oil for signs of coolant. (oil will be milky looking) Also indicative of a head gasket problem is an oil or coolant leak from the engine as well. If you see no evidence of the above, have a compression test done, and it should show up.

Rain Sensor wipers Renault Megane

Either the replacement sensor the windscreen technician should have fitted isnt connected properly to the glass or it has developed an intermittant fault - quite common with Renaults especially megane scenics and grand scenics....
