Usually it's the brakes that need adjusting. As the breakes wear it makes the fill of the break lever seem out of adjustment. Check the brakes on the rear first. then if there are good the adjustment is a wire cable underneath the car. Also the cables tend to rust solid and not work on one or both the rear wheels. If so replace cable.You have just opened a flurry of tests now.

Torque specs for 2003 ford sport trac 2wd drive shaft bolts

looked up info in my database, 03 explorer sports trac, 4.0L, driveshaft remove and install, driveshaft to rear axle bolts, 75 ft lbs.

Any torque specs you find on the internet, try to double check. My database could be wrong.

Not likely any reset button. If both seats have stopped working it must be some power problem I would think. There is a control unit under the seats but I think there are two, one for driver and one for passenger. Change the fuse anyway, make sure you have the right one.
