The location of the fuse for the running lights on a trailer may vary depending on the make and model of your vehicle. However, here are some general steps to help you locate the fuse:
Check your vehicle's owner's manual to determine the location of the fuse box. The manual should also provide a diagram of the fuse box and a list of fuses and their functions.
Once you have located the fuse box, open it and look for the fuse labeled "Trailer" or "Trailer Lights." Some vehicles may have a separate fuse box specifically for trailer wiring.
If you cannot find a fuse labeled for the trailer lights, check the fuses labeled "Parking Lights" or "Tail Lights." These fuses may also control the trailer's running lights.
If you are unable to find the correct fuse, you may need to consult a mechanic or the dealership for assistance.
Remember to always replace a blown fuse with one of the same amperage rating. If the new fuse blows immediately after installation, there may be a wiring issue with the trailer or vehicle that needs to be addressed.
Could be a blown fuse or the switch. start with checking all the fuses... or at least the lighting fuses. more info is needed... year make model but start with fuses
Running lights (left side): Fuse #47 -- Running lights (right side): Fuse #48 -- Brake lights: Fuse #54. Fuse panel is on the lower left side (underneath) the dashboard. NOTE: If it is your brake lights that are not working and fuse # 54 looks okay, check the brake light switch, it may have gone bad. Dome light is fuse #46 or #47 depending on model.
You can take a standard 12 volt test light and hook it to a good ground, then touch the little metal tab on each side/ top of the fuse. With the lights and flashers turned on, you can test each fuse. NOTE! some fuses don't have power unless the ignition is on, but running lights should come on. The running light fuse should stay on while the flasher fuses usually blink with the lights.
Hope this helps. Mike
There is a fuse. Check carefully, you might have more than 1 fusebox. It may be tagged "running lights" If you head lights still work, check the accessory fuse(s)
easy fix.... find the wire that goes to the LICENSE PLATE LIGHT and splice into it and run a new wire to the running light wire for the trail.. it will be very close the the Trail harness
