I had the same issue and bought some sea foam transmission fluid product and it seems to have worked. Just be careful not to overfill it.

Not sure if it helps you but the manufacturer suggests changing your timing belt around 60,000 miles. I did this at 80k and bought a kit which included a tensioner replacement. Labor intensive but if you don't do this you run the risk of damaging your engine to the point of having to replace it altogether.(if your timing belt should fail) When your timing belt fails your pistons can damage valves which may be left open due to the camshaft not being spun by the timing belt.Hope this helps a bit.... I now have enjoyed 122k miles of trouble free motoring in my 05 spectra..

Hello. Your transmission needs a tune up. If you have an AAMCO repair shop near by go there, otherwise look in the yellow pages under transmission repair. Do not drive to far in this condition as it could cause much more costly issues. J.

Take to Kia right away...They have a 10 year 100k mile power train warrenty. Let them have the headache.

Hi,
It might have a partially blocked fuel line or ait intake supply.

• Try to check your fuel filter.
• The seive on the fuel pump.
• The fuel injectors might be dirty.
• The air cleaner might be clogged

or the fuel sensor might be malfunctioning.
Try to check the compression, it might be loosing compression when you demand the engine to move the vehicle.
