Oil problem I have a 2007 VW EOS and the car now has 30250 miles and it has been serviced regularly. The loss of oil started a couple of months ago. The PVC valve was replaced but the problem remaims. The oil has been removed and weighed by the service department three times now. One of the techs stated that it is acceptable to loose a certain amount of oil every 600 miles. I personally find this unacceptable and I want an answer. Now there is a white milky substance on the filler hole and the dip stick. Could this possibly be water? Blown head gasket? What?? The car is still under warranty.

The white substand is the mixture of oil and antifreeze coolant. also check if this is accumulating in the oil filler cap on top of the engine.
as mentioned this can come from condensation but in large quanties this MAY indicate cylindar head problem or cracked motor block between the oil channls and the water jacket if performance is effected then you have a problem.

Probably not a blown head gasket, maybe, but more than likely a condensation issue. - The 2.0 engines are prone to suffering from condensation issues - which will eventually lead to needing new plugs and coil packs...
Oil consumption is unfortunately pretty normal too. VW won't do squat unless its about 1 qt every 1000 miles...
What kind of daily driving do you do?

Blown head gasket. I would get it to the shop right away. You are starting to mix oil and water and the problem will only get worse until fixed. And the warranty will cover this
