My 1994 Nissan Maxima is missing really bad. What could be the problem?

TCS and SLIP are part of the ABS system. Check the fluid level in master cylinder first. If that's OK, than you probably have a intermitent problem with one of the ABS sensors.You will need a scanner to find out which sensor in mulfunctioning, or wht the problem is. As far as the shaking condition goes, sounds like the car is misfiring. What is the code number that you are coming up with for the check engine light?? Have the spark plugs been replaced?? Replacement intarval on a 2002 Max is 105000 miles. These car seem to have a problem with the rocker cover gaskets, where iol leaks into the spark plug hole and fill the hole up, so you may need that cover, when you are replacing the plugs, but you will not know that, until you actually get inside of it. Let me know what the code is for the "check engine light" post results.

hi.bring your car to an automobile electrician.ask him to check the electronic control unit's harnesses and sockets.same thing with the engine control module's harnesses and sockets. it should be free of dirt and corrosion.

Sounds as if you need the electrical portion of the ignition switch. The contacts inside are most likely worn out.

You need to have the system tested for trouble codes, Kragen and Autozone parts stores do this for free.
