SOURCE: i need torque specs for 1995 plymouth voyager 2.5l head gasket

start in middle and work your way outwards, torque setting??you haveing a laugh,no self respecting mechanic uses a torque wrench, pull heads down first with speed key ,making sure the bolt holes in the block are clean and no oil or water in them.then the ratchet then the nice "snap on" bar ,has to be snap on for the right amount of spring. Then use the "snap on" bar to put the final torque on and feel the bolts stretching .If your a weekend mechanic then about 80lbs should suffice but retorque them after a 50 miles or so

I have a 1992 plymouth sundance i keep hearing a grinding nosie only when i push on the gas you could hear it and when you put it in reverse now it does it while im driving pushing on gas or not i hear it

Being front wheel drive you might want to check the engine mounts. When your driving it ,the engine will move because of the torque. this is normal . If the mounts are bad it might be rattling or rubbing on something .

After removing the head bolts you should use new ones, torque specs will be with the new bolts. Also make sure you run a tap through the block and lubricate head bolts prior to installation for better torque accuracy.
