SOURCE: 2005 jeep grand cherokee radio

It's in the engine compartment IOD#2. It's a black module with two fuses in it. Take that module off and replace the 20 AMP one.

Parts are not cheap. I'm not sure how hard it is to get to your lines but line wrench/crows foot are probably needed. They are like a boxend wrench with cutout to go over line.

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee put in drive then turn it off restart it put in drive then drive turn to 3 feels like stuck on low gear

The transmission is going into limp mode. You need a special scan tool capable of communicating with the transmission control module in order to find out what is causing the problem

I have a 1995 Grand Cherokee that when you start it the overdive light remains on. The transmission does not shift by itself. What could be causing this and is it an expesive fix?

It happened on my 1995 GCL I6 4L 2WD w/ 130K. A good transmission shop in Sierra Vista, AZ correctly diagnosed it as a transmission control module (TCM) located in the passenger compartment behind the steering column. Used parts were available for about $100, new for about $200. It was plug and play. Diagnosis, installation and road test were another $60. The local dealer misdiagnosed the problem. Later refunded the entire repair bill amount. Now runs like a top.

1994 jeep grand cherokee - speedometer does not work

On a 94 jeep the speedo is electronic, you need to check the speed sensor on the transfer case, they are only about 20 bucks and very easy to swap out, if that does not do it then it becomes more involved because it is either the cluster (dash) or the BCM "(body control module) which controls the speedo in the dash as well as a host of other things like cruise control security system etc... you may need to take it to a dealer and have them check to see that the speed sensor is sending the right info and then you can narrow it down to either the cluster or something in between.
